David Lee Shaw

David Lee Shaw of East End passed away on July 27, 2026 at the age of 66. He was born to Verner and Maxine Shaw. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Gary Shaw, sisters Audrey Shaw and Ruth Ann Shaw. David’s passion was motocross. He owned Pine Bluff motocross track to help riders have a place to race and ride in Arkansas. He loved holding practices and races.

 David is survived by his loving wife Charlotte of fourteen years, four children Brandon (Devan) Shaw of Hensley, Eric (Leslie) Griffith of Little Rock, Amberle (BJ) Wood of El Dorado, and Natalie (Kevin) Owens of Bryant. His eight grandchildren were his pride and joy. Cole, Lakin, Noah, Kaleb, Paisley, Barrett, Emelyn, and Jillian. 

He loved to watch them play football, baseball, cross country, dance, cheer, and motocross. David is also survived by two brothers Don (Gloria) Shaw of Little Rock, and Vernon (Karen) Shaw of East End and many nieces and nephews and lifelong friends. David was an Engineer for thirty six years at Union Pacific Railroad before he retired to enjoy traveling with his family. David will always be remembered by (as we call them) Davoisms. Such as: “Why Sure”, “I'm Subject”, “Cant hide talent”, “forget about it”, "You'll have that from time to time” and “I’m an athlete.” David will be deeply missed by family, friends, and others that thought the world of him for his generosity, smile, and outgoing personality that he would give you his shirt off his back if he could.

 Services will be held in his honor Friday, July 31, 2026 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home at 11:00am with visitation before service at 10:00am. Located at 2686 Hwy 167 North, Sheridan, AR 72150. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Sheridan.

Pallbearers are Brandon Ramsey, Ley Wheatley, Colton Funderburg, Chris Anuszek, Steve Shaw and Mark Ramsey..
