David Lynn Tranter of Sheridan was born December 5, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky, the son of Kenneth Arthur and Ann Carol Wheatley Tranter. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Sheridan.

David had many hobbies including fishing, raising fish and woodworking. He was an avid college football fan and he loved to be involved in his children's activities.

David died Monday, March 22, 2010 at his home at the age of 51.

Parents, Kenneth and Ann Carol Tranter of Louisville, Kentucky;
Grandmother, Dorothy Wheatley of Louisville, Kentucky;
Brothers, Kevin Tranter of Corona, California;
Eric Tranter of Scott Knolls, Oregon;
Grandchild, Liam Tranter and a host of aunts, uncles and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 28, 2010 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Fleming officiating with visitation from 1:30 until service time.
