William David Winston of Sheridan, Arkansas was born November 3, 1954 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the son of the late William Orbie and Mary Lee Bird Winston. He was a member of New Life Fellowship Church in Sheridan and in his earlier days he loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed playing video games and playing with his precious grandchildren.

David died Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Saline Memorial Hospice in Bryant at the age of 60.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Audrey Winston, a sister-in-law Connie Winston, a nephew Scott Lemons and a great nephew, Taylor Duley.

Survivors: wife of 39 years, Yonnia Wallace Winston; son, Jason Winston and wife Amber; daughter, Jessica Stinnett and husband Jesse; "adopted" son, Karl Walton and wife Ashley; and brother, Gerald Winston all of Sheridan; sisters, Hywanna Stuckey and husband Wallace of Pine Bluff, Suellen Waters and husband Odis of Sheridan; grandchildren, Trinity, Jadyn, Nathaniel and Jesse Lee Stinnett, Isaiah, Gabriel, and Israel Winston, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, June 6, 2015 at New Life Fellowship Church in Sheridan with Bro. Steve Cypert and Bro. Jonathan Cypert officiating. Burial will follow at Lost Creek Cemetery. Visitation will also be Saturday, from 2:00 P.M. until service time at the church.

Pallbearers will be David Harold Waters, Nathan Talbert, Wade Hall, Elvis Caple, Brian Rickett, Jonathan Hillman, Kelly Rowe, and Wayne Stuckey. Honorary pallbearer will be Tony Gibson.
