David Herbert Wright of Sheridan, Arkansas was born June 13, 1943 at Pine Bluff the son of late Arthur George and Eda Lane Chrisp Wright. He was a member of Lakeside United Methodist Church at Pine Bluff, was retired from Union Pacific Railroad, was active in coaching at Seabrook Center at Pine Bluff and enjoyed woodworking.

Mr. Wright died Saturday, December 16, 2006 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center at Pine Bluff at the age of 63. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, James Arthur Wright and Billy Wright.

Survivors include his wife, Sara K. Wright of Sheridan

Sons: Scott Williams of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Todd Williams of Sheridan;
Step-son: David Vilches of Sheridan.

Daughters: Kim Wright and life partner Ginger L. Kierum of Sheridan and Kathy Sledge of Sheridan;

Brother: Bobby Wright of Hot Springs;

Sister: June Beard of Little Rock;

Grandsons: Hunter Sledge and Spencer Williams;

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mark Lindsey officiating. Visitation will be Monday, 6-8 P.M. Cremation will follow the service so the family requests memorials be sent to the Arkansas branch of the American Heart Association, 909 West 2nd Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203 or to the Arkansas Chapter of the MG (Myasthnia Gravis) Foundation, 106 Pebble Beach, Little Rock, Arkansas 72212.
