Davis Lee "Sonny" Taylor of Grapevine, Arkansas was born March 12, 1937 at Grapevine, the son of the late Wallace and Freddie Mae Bass Taylor. He was a Baptist, a United States Army Veteran and was retired owner and operator of Taylor Construction. Sonny enjoyed working around his farm, hunting, fishing, and most of all, spending time with his grandkids.

Mr. Taylor died Thursday, November 4, 2010 at the V.A. Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 73.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Betty Ann Guyer Taylor of Grapevine; Daughter, Beth Taylor Ross of Austin, Arkansas; Brothers, Pete and Wendell Taylor, of Pine Bluff; Sisters, Joetta Hopkins of Sheridan and Veta Mae Paschall of Pine Bluff; Grandchildren, Faith Elizabeth Skorcz and Jonathan Isaac Ross; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. O.J. Ramick officiating. Burial will be in Grapevine Cemetery. Visitation: Friday, 5:00-8:00 P.M.
Pallbearers are Mark Ross, Albert Ross, Johnny "Tudy" Ross, Rusty Monk, Greg Minton, Gary Hedden, Bruce Staggs and Joey Larocca.
