Davy Howard Shelton of Redfield, Arkansas was born January 21, 1956 in Anchorage, Alaska, went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 4, 2012 at home surrounded by his family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Veona and Howard Shelton.
Davy is survived by his wife and soulmate, Teena Roberts Shelton of Redfield; Son, Jeff Shelton and wife Tabitha of London; Daughter, Stevie Richardson Shelton of Redfield; Grandchildren, Macee-Kate and Bryson Snider; Sister, Renee and husband Buck Foster of Texas; Nephews, Will and Christopher Foster of Texas and his father, Lon Shelton of Redfield. He is also survived very special friends Kenny and Lesley Crain of Redfield as well as numerous true friends and family.
He was a member of River Road Baptist Church in Redfield and he enjoyed mud riding, building 4 wheel drive vehicles, and spending time with family and friends. He was truly loved by everyone who knew him and was always lending a helping hand to anyone who needed him. He will truly be missed.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gene Murdock and Bro. Eric Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Redfield Cemetery at Redfield.
Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Paul McKinley, Kenny Crain, Harmon Carter, Floyd Dunn, David Woods, Rickey Harralson, Wayne Roberts and Chris Carter.
