Debra Carol Scott Scallion of Sheridan, Arkansas was born January 4, 1972 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the youngest daughter of Walter Paul Scott and the late Irene Davis Scott. She enjoyed singing, painting, homemaking and crafts.
Her most precious roles in life were to be a Christian example, a devoted wife, and a loving mother to her three beautiful girls. God blessed her with a love for life and people. She was cherished by those she met through the course of her life. Debbie inspired many through her faith in God and the strength she had during life's toughest moments, She never failed to give God the glory for even the smallest of blessings. She displayed a humble and sincere spirit as she strove to live a Christian life.
Debbie went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at her home at the age of 46, with her caring husband by her side.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Anna Grace Scallion.
Survivors: husband, Chris Scallion; daughters, Lauren, Christin and Abby Scallion; father, Walter Paul Scott; sisters, Paula (Pete) Pitre and Sandie Scott; brothers, Perry (Pam) Henry and Dan (Debbie) DeFoggi, in-laws, Don and Mary Scallion and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Glen Ward and Bro. Dale Collins officiating. Burial will also be Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at Walnut Bottom Cemetery near Paron, Arkansas. Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 6-8 P.M.
Pallbearers are Rickey Whitaker, Marks Mitchell, Jordan Scallion, Russell Scallion, Buck Taylor, Jim Taggart, and Pete Pitre.
