Obituary

Deborah Kay Croy Atwood of Sheridan, Arkansas was born July 14, 1952, at Little Rock, the daughter of Doyle W. "Pete" Croy and the late Alice Mae McKinney Croy. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church, near Sheridan, and was formerly a cake decorator. Deborah had a passion for animals, from birds to horses, and everything in-between. Probably her favorite activity, was showing poultry and attending poultry shows with her husband.

Mrs. Atwood died Friday, June 2, 2017 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, at the age of 64. In addition to her mother, she is also preceded in death by her brother, Randy Croy.

Survivors include her husband, and best friend, Billy Ray Atwood of Sheridan; sons, Gerald Croy of Haskell, John Croy of Sheridan, and David Croy of Ico Community; step-daughter, Tina Stephens of Benton; father, Doyle W. "Pete" Croy of Ico Community; brother, James Croy of Ico Community; sister, Marilyn Wilson of Prattsville; grandchildren, Elizabeth Croy of Haskell and Olivia Croy of Oregon; numerous other family members and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, June 5, 2017 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Ferrell West and Bro. Toby Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Lost Creek Cemetery. Visitation is also Monday, from 9:00 A.M. until service time.
