Debra Kay Wheetley Davenport Camp of Sheridan, Arkansas went to be with her Lord on August 16, 2008 after a long battle with a serious illness. Debby was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on September 3, 1957. Debby was a member of East End Baptist Church and a 1975 graduate of Sheridan High School. She was happy, vibrant, and loved her family and friends. We'll hold the memory of her smile and laughter close to our hearts forever.
Debby was preceded in death by grandparents, Vance and Ida Mae Hogue, and Ralph Wheetley. She is survived by husband, Rick; Children: Jake Davenport of Bismark, Lindsey Cotton and husband Josh of East End, Courtney and Anthony Camp of Sheridan; Grandchildren: Grace and Graham Davenport of Sheridan, Olivia and Emma Cotton of East End; Parents: Arley Wheetley Sr. of East End, Viola Wheetley of Little Rock; Grandmother: Earline Wheetley of East End; Brothers: Arley Wheetley, Jr., Steve Wheetley and wife Margie, all of East End; Sisters: Linda Reed and husband David of White Hall, Tammy Rash and husband Mark of East End; many nephews and nieces; and a great number of close friends.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan, Arkansas with Rev. Ron Sanders officiating. Burial will be at Salem Cemetery in East End. Visitation will be Monday, August 18, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 P.M.
Pallbearers will be Robert Purtle, Steve Threlkeld, Bodie Hunter, Brian Mullen, Mark Burrup, and Justin Camp.
