Dennis Earl McKenzie of Sheridan, Arkansas was born December 31, 1962 in Little Rock, the son of the late Leonard and Melvina Phillips McKenzie. He was a mechanic and he enjoyed collecting knives, shooting guns, hot rods, working on cars and going to the casinos. He loved getting to spend time with his children, grandchildren, family and friends.

Mr. McKenzie died Saturday, January 7, 2023 at his home at the age of 60.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Dennis McKenzie, II and a brother, Jimmy Little.

Survivors: wife, Melissa Winbury McKenzie of Sheridan; sons, Cody Staggs and Joe Staggs of East End; daughters, Melissa McKenzie of Polk, Ohio, Heather Collier of Little Rock, Holly Smith of Sheridan, Casey Staggs of Prattsville; sister, Geraldine Sluss of Little Rock; grandchildren, Kaiden McKenzie, Anthony Ball, Karley Marsh, Hayden Collier, Maley Collier, Ashley Staggs, Adley Staggs, Natorly Staggs, Adelyn Staggs, Sandra Staggs, Tillery Smith, Weston Smith, Waylan Smith, Landry Crutchfield, Cason Crutchfield; and many friends

A time of visitation will be Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 2:30-4:30 PM at the funeral home.

Burial will be later in the week at Maple Hill Cemetery in West Salem, Ohio.
