Dennis Ray Pearson was born October 5, 1939 in Norman, Arkansas.  He died December 14, 2019 at the Saline Memorial Hospice House in Bryant Arkansas and lived most of his adult life in Prattsville Arkansas.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Velma "Bidy" Pearson of Prattsville and two sons, Steven Pearson of Gloucester, Virginia and Scottie Pearson of Prattsville.  He is also survived by three granddaughters: Destin Pearson of Bryant, Arkansas; Alexa Dooley of Las Vegas, Nevada; and Tess Pearson of Mayflower, Arkansas; and a grandson, Preston Pearson of Prattsville, Arkansas.  He was blessed with six great grandchildren Blaine, Addie, Finley, Sailor, Scout and Wrenn Dooley all of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Dennis worked for many years at Arkansas Face Veneer in Benton.  He also served as a plant manager at Century Industries in Little Rock, Arkansas.  He was a master craftsman, carpenter, and a talented at many trades.  He was a well known Mr. Fix It and there was no maintenance, building, carpentry or mechanical job he couldn't or wouldn't tackle.  His greatest joy in life was his family and working in his shop.  He loved fishing, hunting and was an excellent gardener.   He was a kind man, and a loving father and "Papaw".

A memorial service for Dennis will be held Tuesday, December 17, at 6pm at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that volunteer hours and donations be given to the Saline Memorial Hospice House in Bryant.
