Dennis L. "Denny" Holloway of Sheridan, Arkansas was born September 22, 1947 at Bend, Oregon, the son of Dorothy Harrison Holloway and the late Arnold Lee Holloway. He was a Deacon and member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan, was a member of Sheridan Masonic Lodge #260, was a member of Waddle Hunting Club and was owner / operator of H & H Vending. Denny enjoyed hunting, fishing, antiquing and auctions. His greatest joy in life was making memories with his family.

Mr. Holloway died, Saturday, January 23, 2010 at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock at the age of 62. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Randy Gregory.

Survivors include his wife and best friend for 42 years, Rita May Holloway; Son and daughter-in-law, Donny and Marla Holloway; Mother, Dorothy Harrison Holloway; Brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Marsha Holloway; Sister, Sandy Gregory; Grandsons, Jacob and Joseph Holloway; all of Sheridan. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan with Bro. Terry Williams and Bro. Vance Nutt officiating.. Burial will follow at Lost Creek Cemetery. Visitation: Monday, 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, P.O. Box 34, Sheridan, Arkansas 72150.

Pallbearers are Eddie Vanlandingham, Billy Alexander, Larry Wisely, Curtis Gladish, Juan Caple and Jim Munds.

Honorary pallbearers are Don Caple, William Guffy, Steve Vanlandingham, Fred Herrington and Larry Harrison.

The family would like to thank Dr. Brad Baltz and his wonderful staff for all the love, care and concern shown to Denny and his family during his illness.
