Derrick Allen Jordan of Sheridan, Arkansas was born December 5, 1989 at Little Rock, the son of Kenneth Joe and Abbie Gail Aaron Jordan. He was a maintenance worker at Wheeling Machine, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, mudriding, playing guitar and loved to duck hunt. He was a member of Crazy 8 Hunting Club.

Derrick died Sunday, August 29, 2010 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff as the result of an automobile accident at the age of 20. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Lillian Jordan and maternal grandfather, Howard Lee Aaron.

Survivors: Wife, Abby Noelle DeMoss Jordan of Sheridan; parents, Kenneth and Abbie Gail Jordan of Redfield; sister, Tiffany Jordan of Haskell; grandparents, Johnny and Gene Jordan of Redfield and Alta Dell Aaron of White Hall; nieces and nephews, Noah Allison Bancroft, Alexia Jordan Bancroft and Olivia Gail Bancroft; father and mother in-law, Danny and Polly DeMoss of Sheridan; brother in law, Adam DeMoss.

Graveside funeral services will be 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, September 1, 2010 in
Jackson Cemetery near Sheridan with Bro. Glen Fleming and Roy Brown officiating. Visitation: 5:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan.

Pallbearers are Kyle Rhodes, Justin Ashlin, Nick Ponder, Adam DeMoss, Rob Mathews and Wesley Helvey.
