Patricia Diane Palmer Watkins of the Ico Community, near Sheridan, was born October 2, 1961 at Magnolia, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Doyle and Jayne Lou Summitt Palmer.  Diane was a Christian and loved her Lord. For many years she played piano and organ for Church services.  She was also a gifted singer.  She really enjoyed reading and quilting.  Make no mistake, her greatest love was for her family, especially her grandkids.  She thought the sun rose and set around them and they brought her so much joy.

Diane died Sunday, June 25, 2023 at her home at the age of 61.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Dustin and Magan Watkins of Mabelvale; daughter, Mariah Lazenby and her partner, David Vang of Sheridan; grandchildren, Cade, Victor, Kannon, Kellan, Madelynn; brothers, Sam (Leslie) Palmer of Hensley, Stan Palmer of Conway; sister, Becky (Eric) Scott of Sherwood; nieces and nephews, Leslie, Blake, Amanda, Tyler, Ethan, Aaron, Mallory. She is also survived by other extended family members and many co-workers and friends.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Orion Cemetery with Bro. Michael Walton officiating.  Visitation is Wednesday, 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
