Donald Lee Bell, 86, of Sheridan, Arkansas passed into his heavenly home on October 23, 2020. He was born on September 11, 1934 in Lake Village, Arkansas to the late Kermit Otto Bell and Hazel Leoleau Smith Bell. He was the oldest of 11 children. Don was a founding member of Meadowview Baptist Church.  He taught Sunday School for 50 years and served his Lord by singing in the choir.  A passionate woodsman, Don "never worked a day in his life." Known for his honesty and integrity, he never backed down from a challenge and wholeheartedly believed that anyone could do whatever they set their mind to do. Maintaining a balance of church, business, work and family Don had served on the board of directors of Malvern National Bank, a member of the Grant County Chamber of Commerce, and the Sheridan Rotary Club. He also was a great supporter for Log-A-Load and other organizations.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Hazel Marie Bell and two brothers, Robert Bell and Earl Bell.  Survivors to cherish his memory, are his  wife and caregiver, Kathryn Stubbs Bell, daughter, Donnita Bell Tubbs (Donald), sons, Denton Bell (Rhonda) all of Sheridan, Daren Bell (Haley) of Conway; grandchildren, Layton (Courtani) Bell, Loren Bell, Declan Bell, Katie Grace and Sawyer Tubbs; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joann Bell, K.O. Bell, Anita Stine (Bill), Wanda Adams (Charles), John Bell (Jackie), Carol Bell, Sherlyn Larrison (Jim), Helen Johnson (Bob), Patty Pierini (Phillip), Henrietta & Hugo Bustamante, Linda Stubbs, and a host of nieces, nephews, church family and friends. Funeral service will be 2PM Monday, October 26, 2020 at Meadowview Baptist Church in Sheridan with Bro. Micah McKinley officiating. Burial will follow at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-6PM at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Meadowview Baptist Church, P.O. Box 115, Sheridan, Arkansas 72150.  Due to Covid 19, face masks and social distancing are required.
