Donald Joe Cooper of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 11, 1934 in Deberry, Arkansas, the son of the late Clarence Edward and Elsie French Cooper. He was a member of Ephesus Missionary Baptist Church and Sheridan Masonic Lodge #260. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working in the garden.

Mr. Cooper died at his home on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the age of 84.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Donnie Joe Cooper; three brothers, Jimmy, Danny, and Bill Dean; and three sisters, Pamela, Sue, and Virginia.

Survivors: wife of almost 67 years of marriage, Audrey Jane Anders Cooper of Sheridan; son, Rickey (Linda) Cooper of Sheridan; daughters, Clara Norris of Sheridan, Vickie Jo (James) Gage of Louisville, KY, and Sharon (Tim) Reynolds of Sheridan; brother, Paul Cooper of London; sisters, Dianne Nichols of Crossett, and Earline Hunsucker of Star City; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and one great great grandchild on the way; and a host of extended family members, church family and friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lost Creek in Sheridan. Visitation will be 6 – 8 p.m. Monday.
