Donald Dean Winkle was born June 6, 1932 the son of the late William Thomas and Margaret Crutchfield Winkle. He was a member of Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan and a retired brick mason. Mr. Winkle was also a member of Providence Hunting Club and Country Gold Band.

Mr. Winkle died Monday, May 3, 2004 at his home at the age of 71.

He is survived by his wife Helen Chaffin Winkle of Sheridan, Sons; Randy Winkle of Sheridan, Chris Winkle and wife Carolyn of Sheridan. Daughters; Zena Parker of Sheridan, Kim Dyches and husband Mark of Lunberton, Texas and Amber Threlkeld and husband Jeremy of Sheridan
Brother; Charles Winkle of Malvern, Sisters; Lois Cunningham and Joan Warwick both of Malvern and Carol Dimler and Margie Raley both of Sheridan

3 Grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren

Funeral Services will be Friday, May 7, 2004 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Rev. Odell Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery near Sheridan. Visitation 5-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
