Dora Anna McCool Padgett Land of Sheridan, Arkansas was born September 20, 1927 in Sheridan the daughter of the late Havis Harve and Bessie Elizabeth Law McCool. She was a homemaker and a member of Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
Ms. Land died Thursday, September 29, 2005 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff at the age of 78.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Austin Padgett and W.O. Land and her brothers Leon and Carl McCool,

Grandchildren: Ricky and Nan Anderton, Rhonda and John Phillips, Jeffrey and Sala Padgett, Jennifer Padgett, Ryan and Amanda Terry, Tara and Jake Hargrove, Cortney Padgett, Shelby Padgett, Austin Padgett, Jacob Padgett and Tina Padgett, Trevor Bryant and Andrea Bryant.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 4, 2005 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan with Bro. Ron Ballard officiating. Burial will follow in Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan. Visitation: 6-8 Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers are John Phillips, Jake Hargrove, Ryan Terry, Tracy Tiernan, Bill Johnson and David Robinson.
