Dora Shoptaw Moring Wells, of Little Rock, Arkansas was born February 19, 1916 at Redfield, Arkansas the daughter of the late William Lee and Ruby King Shoptaw. She went to celebrate her new life with Jesus on October 1, 2008. She was a member of Marlow Missionary Baptist Church at Sheridan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Rev. Willis Moring.

Survivors: Sons, Wayne and wife Edith Moring of Conway; Tom Wells of Little Rock;
Daughters, Wanda and husband Tommy Connell of Little Rock, Sandy and husband Billy Murphy of Trenton, Tennessee;
Daughter in law, Sue Moring of Fredericks, Maryland;
Sisters, Cora Millirons of Sheridan; Della Faye Baugh of Redfield;
13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was lovingly known as "Aunt Dora" to many more.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, October 3, 2008 at Marlow Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Robert Standley and Bro. Charles Lewallen officiating. Burial will follow at Orion Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Dausa Connell, Marty Moring, Mitch Harris, Jeremy Harris, Jerry Harris and Mike Moring.
