Dora Sue Robinson Doherty of Sheridan was born April 14, 1934 at Sheridan, the daughter of the late Rev. James and Lillie Jackson Robinson. She was a faithful, long time, member of Lost Creek Missionary Baptist Church and was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister.

Mrs. Doherty died Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Saline Memorial Hospice in Bryant, Arkansas at the age of 78.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Doherty; two sons, Paul Dean Doherty and James Lee Doherty; four brothers, Nathan, Johnny, Auston and Marcus Robinson; two sisters, Barbara and Lucille Walters.

Survivors: Daughters, Carolyn and husband Don Wortham of Searcy, Pauline and husband Tony Ausbrooks of Sheridan;
Daughter-in-law, Linda Doherty of Prattsville; three grandchildren, Angie and husband Jason Holiman; Wendy and husband Dean Egerdahl and Leslie and husband Chris Lucas; 10 great grandchildren, several step grandchildren; and sister, Wilma Mosley of Sheridan and brother, Calvin Robinson of Paron, Arkansas.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Kenneth Click and Bro. Don Goodman officiating. Burial will be in Lost Creek Cemetery, however the family requests that the service conclude at the chapel. Visitation will be Monday, 5:00-7:00 P.M. Pallbearers: Clinton Sipes, Jerry McCool, Kenneth McCool, Kermit Mangrum, Franklin Thomason, Doug Harlan. Honorary pallbearers are members of the Faith Sunday School Class at Lost Creek. Memorials may be made to Lost Creek Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund.
