Doris Jean Davis Crossett of Grapevine, Arkansas was born March 29, 1938 at Grapevine, the daughter of the late Eugene and Alta Jane Fitzsimmons Davis.  She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Sheridan and was retired from Kohler.  Her happiest times were all spent at home, surrounded by family.  The greatest comfort is knowing that Jimmy Lee was waiting at Heaven's Gates to sing her a song he's learned and show her around Heaven.

Mrs. Crossett died Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at her home, at the age of 87.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her best friend and husband, Jimmy Lee Crossett; her brothers, Vernon Davis, Truman Davis, and Obert Davis; sisters, Marquita Wallace and Helen Plunkett.

Survivors include her daugters, Theresa Crossett of Sheridan,  Janet Crossett of Sheridan, Juanita and husband Jackie Stone of Grapevine; sister, Naomi DeMoss of Kentucky; 2 grandchildren, Mandy (Buck) Bellomy; Josh (Ashley) Stone; 4 great grandchildren, Cember, Gabby (Tony) Reel, Meta, and Willow; great great grandchildren, Alexander Reel, Benjamin Reel; She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Calvin Holmes officiating. Burial will follow at Grapevine Cemetery.    Visitation will be Friday from 5:00-8:00 P.M
