Dorothy Scott Goodwin of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 9, 1935 in Dumas, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Archie and Doris Poole Scott. She was a member of the Word Covenant Fellowship Church in Hensley and had worked many years for State Farm. She was a faithful wife, mother, sister, and grandmother who loved to spend time with her family as well as cook and garden.

Mrs. Goodwin died Thursday, October 11, 2012 at her home at the age of 77. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brothers, Donald Scott and sisters, Patsy Ormonde and Ann Scott.

Brothers, Archie Scott, Jr. Of Boise, Idaho; Bobby Scott and wife Roberta of Cascade, Idaho;
Sisters, Joan Conners and husband Coleman of Center Ridge, AR;
Sandra Burchfield of Little Rock;
Grandchildren, Candace Goodwin, Curtis Rowland, Jennifer Hoyle and husband Matthew, Rachel Nalley and husband Robby; great grandchildren, Chase Nalley and Gunner Hoyle and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Bethel Cemetery in the Ico Community. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home
