Dorothy Travis Hendricks Williams of Sheridan, Arkansas was born September 16, 1925 in New Hope, Arkansas, the daughter of the late John Perry and Lydia Hicks Hendricks. She was a member of Buie Baptist Church at Prattsville and a homemaker.

Mrs. Williams died Friday, March 26,2010 at Arkansas Hospice in Little Rock at the age of 84.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Williams.

Survivors: Sons, Perry O.Williams and wife Debbie of Prattsville;
Randy A. Williams of Greensboro, North Carolina;
Sister, Maycel Orr and husband James of El Dorado;
Grandchildren; Megan Williams, Locke Williams, Shannon Shumate and husband Brent, Chase Mangiapane;
Great grandchildren; Brendan Shumate, Madison Shumate and Blane Shumate.

Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 29, 2010 at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville with Bro. Neal Pumphrey officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
