Dorothy Harrison Holloway of Sheridan, Arkansas was born February 18, 1927 in Leola, Arkansas the daughter of the late Vergie Mae Cathey Harrison. She was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan. She enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Grant County Senior Citizens Center, and with her family.

Mrs. Holloway died Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab at the age of 89.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Lee Holloway; son, Dennis "Denny" Holloway; brothers, Jack Harrison, Cecil Harrison, Thurman Harrison and Floyd Harrison and sister, Helen Sides.

Survivors: son, Billy and wife Marsha Holloway; daughter, Sandy Gregory; daughter-in-law, Rita Holloway all of Sheridan; brother, Arthur and wife Betty Harrison of Leola; 4 grandchildren, Donny Holloway, Brian and Bridgett Holloway, Cody and Haley Gregory, Marcie (Zac) Holloway; 7 great grandchildren, Brock Taylor, Ashlea Holloway, Madison Holloway, Jacob Holloway, Joseph Holloway, Breanna Reynolds and Lilian Gregory and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Lost Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday at the funeral home from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m.

Pallbearers are her grandsons and great grandsons. Honorary pallbearers are her granddaughters and great granddaughters.
