Dorris McKinney Oliver of Redfield, Arkansas was born September 22, 1924 in Woodson, Arkansas, the daughter of the late John and Goldie Howlette McKinney. She was a member of Pine Grove Church in Sweet Home, Arkansas.
She was a wonderful, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved her family dearly.
Dorris loved the outdoors, and was an avid hunter beating out most of the men with getting the biggest buck. She also enjoyed fishing, bowling and mowing her yard.
Mrs. Oliver died Thursday, March 12, 2015 at UAMS in Little Rock at the age of 90.
Survivors: husband, Gene Oliver of Redfield; sons, Barry "Buck" Oliver and Charlie Oliver; daughter-in-law, Brenda Oliver; grandchildren, Grant Oliver, Carrie (Ryan) Stanfield, Casey Oliver and Katie Oliver; great grandchildren, Taylor Dunn, Cody Oliver, Lexi Dunn, Hayden Stanfield, Addie Stankfield and a host of friends.
Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 16, 2015 at Woodson Cemetery with Bro. Ronnie Meredith officiating. Visitation will be Sunday at the funeral home from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M.
Pallbearers will be Grant Oliver, Casey Oliver, Cody Oliver, Ryan Stanfield, Bobby Dunn, Derric Hobbs, Chance Dotson and Marcus Lambert.
Dorris will be deeply missed by her loved ones but we have overwhelming great memories of her.
