Delbert Wayne "D.W." Anderton of Sheridan, Arkansas was born October 5, 1950 in Sheridan, Arkansas the son of the late Louis and Josie Whiteaker Anderton. He was a 1968 graduate of Sheridan High School, and was a member of Capital City Freewill Baptist Church in Little Rock. He enjoyed watching football, fishing and playing video games with his grandchildren.

Mr. Anderton died Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 64.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Marvin Anderton and Garland Anderton.

Survivors: sons, Jon Paul and wife Kay Anderton; Bobby Anderton; daughters, Maria and husband Roy Kelley, Jessica and husband Kris Persons, all of Sheridan; brothers, Harold and wife Margie Anderton of Malvern, Dwight Anderton of Kingsland; sister, Alice Webb of Bartlett, Tennessee; 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Jim Baker and Bro. Al Michael officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery near Sheridan. Visitation will be Saturday at the funeral home from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M.
