Luther Edward Holmes, Jr. Of Sheridan, Arkansas was born March 12, 1945 in Sheridan the son of Marie Roberts Holmes and the late Edward Leo Holmes. He died Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at his home at the age of 61.

Mr. Holmes was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church and had been employed at Kohler. He was an avid guitar player and loved music.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a sister, Juanita Brooks and 2 grandchildren, Skylar and A.J. Holmes.

Daughters, Renee' Cole of Warrensburg, Missouri; Kim Davis of Jonesboro; Sarah
Rolett of Grapevine;

Mother, Marie Holmes of Sheridan;

Brothers, Leo Holmes of Oklahoma; Calvin Holmes of Alexander; Jimmy Holmes of Sheridan;

Grandchildren, Hope and Mark Holmes; Mackenzie Cole; Erin and Alli Davis;
Michael and Jonathan Rolett and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 20, 2007 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Jon Cox officiating.
