John Eddie "Bunt" Romine of Sheridan, Arkansas was born January 29, 1939. He passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the age of 77.
Mr. Romine was a U.S. Army Veteran, a retired paint and body man, and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Sheridan. He enjoyed old cars, blues music, horse racing and coon hunting.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Bertha Shipley Romine, brother Randy Romine, sister Shirley Buchanan and a grandson, Tyler Burnell.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Janet Romine; children, Angela and Wayne Keen of Bryant, Melanie and Allen Casteel of Sheridan, John Michael and Leslie Romine of Sheridan, Mark and Mary Anne Romine of Bismarck, Robin Michelle Bailey of Redfield, and Matthew Romine of Sheridan; brothers, Jackie and Jim Romine of Little Rock and Dennis Romine of Virginia; 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, church family and friends.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Michael Walton and Bro. Gary Copeland officiating. Burial will follow at Orion Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
