Edgar William Webb of Sheridan, Arkansas was born May 11, 1921 in Corning, Arkansas the son of the late Rile and Tinnie Smith Webb. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for Jefferson County, had served in the Navy during World War II, was a member of the Sheridan Golf and Country Club and the Jefferson Co. Deputy Sheriff's Association.

Mr. Webb died Sunday, May 7, 2006 at the VA Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 84.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ollye Pearl Webb, a brother Alvie Webb, infant twin sisters and an infant brother.

Former wife and friend, Priss Haralson of Sheridan

8 grandchildren, Neil Webb, Gary Webb, Greg Webb, Angela Webb Goodin, Kristen Webb Tinsley, Rick Bishop, Michelle (Neal) Herring and Archie Neal III;

9 great grandchildren, Zeke Goodin, Ashton Goodin, Austin Tinsley, Samantha Tinsley, Zane Webb, Garett Webb, Ethan Webb, Jason Herring and Megan Herring;

Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at 2:30 PM at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Arlis East officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 PM Monday. Pallbearers are Neil Webb, Gary Webb, Greg Webb, Ronnie Wallingsford, Lance Wallingsford and Steve Webb.
