Edith Walters Manche of Pine Bluff, Arkansas was born April 14, 1920 in Sheridan, the daughter of the late Lace Right Walters and Dora Edith Hames Walters. She was an active member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Pine Bluff and had been a member of the Extention Homemakers Club of Dollarway having received a five year perfect attendance award.

Mrs. Manche died at her home on December 27, 2010 at the age of 90.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Manche and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors: Daughters, Sue Welch and husband Bill of Austin, Texas;
Wanda Shipman of Joplin, Missouri;
Sister, Dessie Western of Hooks, Texas;
6 grandchildren, Keith Welch, Suzette Fields, Deanna Randolph, Jennifer Carl, Angel Haggard and Robbie Adams
17 great grandchildren and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Jackson Cemetery near Sheridan. Visitation will be from noon until service time on Thursday.
