Edith A. Taylor Self of Sheridan, Arkansas went to be with her Lord on September 16, 2012. She was born in Catahoula Parish in Louisiana in 1926. She was at present a resident of Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab Center and was in Saline Memorial Hospital when she went home. She was a faithful prayer warrior for over 80 years.

She is survived by one son, Jim L. Taylor of Sheridan; daughters, Betty Taylor of Shreveport, LA, Shirley LaCoy of Pineville, LA and Cynthia Riddle of Phoenix, Arizona; two sisters, Velma Ainsworth of Pineville, LA and Rita Sayes of Deville, LA, six grandchildren, Alan Morris of Bryant, Eric Larson of Shreveport, LA, Jerid Riddle of Phoenix, AZ, and Jennifer Eubanks of Sheridan; Scott Stuckey of Pineville, LA, and Shannon Stuckey of Ball, LA and 8 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Michael Taylor of Tuscon, AZ, one grandson, Ramie Miller of Shreveport, LA., and husbands, Leonard Taylor, and H. P. Self, and several brothers and sisters.

There will be no formal services. The family has decided to have a private service at a later date.
