Edward Martin Mercer of Little Rock, Arkansas was born October 13, 1954 in Little Rock, the son of the late Henry C. Mercer, Jr. and Gertrude Zimmerebner Mercer. He was a retired sheet metal worker and a member of Cornerstone Fellowship Church in Hensley. He was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed watching all Razorback sports.

Mr. Mercer died at UAMS on April 30, 2024 at the age of 69.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors, wife Karen McCafferty Mercer of Little Rock; daughter, Tonya Pinkerton (Jerry) of Little Rock; brothers, Henry Mercer III (Sandra) of Alexander, Johnny Mercer (Dea) of Little Rock; sisters, Mary Virginia Burks (Glen) of Little Rock, Ann Crump (Tommy Broom) of Vilonia; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, church family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 5:00 P.M. at Cornerstone Fellowship Church in Hensley with a time of visitation at 4:00 P.M. prior to the service.
