Elbert Lynn Valentine of Sheridan, Arkansas was born February 2, 1943 in Sheridan, Arkansas the son of Arlene Harrington Valentine and the late Orville Valentine. He was a member of Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan and had served in the Arkansas National Guard. He enjoyed spending time with his family and he enjoyed antique motor vehicles, having been a member of the Central Arkansas Antique Machinery and Historical Society.

Mr. Valentine died Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 70. He was preceded in death by his father, Orville Valentine.

Survivors: mother, Arlene Valentine of Sheridan; sons, Robert Valentine and wife Teresa of Bryant and Marshall Valentine and fiance' Teresa Hall of Sheridan;
sister, Barbara Bradshaw and husband Benny of Sheridan; grandchildren, Courtney Valentine and Casey Valentine and a host of extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
