Elmer Dean Hunter of Sheridan, Arkansas was born February 17, 1930 in Sheridan, the son of the late Jess and Laura Grace Adams Hunter. He was a member of Graves and Hunter Hunting Club and a Baptist as well as a member of Bethel South Cemetery Association.

Mr. Hunter died Friday, August 21, 2009 at his home at the age of 79.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Chris Bradley Hunter and two sisters, Wanda Wilson and Georgia Rhodes.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, August 24, 2009 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jon Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel South Cemetery in Sheridan. Visitation: 4:00 until 6:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Bobby Heath, Gary Heath, John Heath, Mike Smith, Ricky Hunter and Chris Guthrie.
