Edith Elois Lowery Freeman, 83 of Sheridan, precious mother and grandmother passed away Friday, August 4, 2006 at Saline Hospital in Benton. She was born at Saw Mill Camp near Fordyce on September 19, 1922 to C .C. and Myrtle Massey Lowery. She was a member of Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, camping and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Hollis Freeman, brothers Paul and Dewitt
Lowery and a son William Boyd Freeman.
Survivors; Sons, Raymond Freeman and wife Georgianna of Sheridan;
Cletis Freeman and wife Sharon of Conway;
Daughter in law and caregiver, Mary Ann Freeman of Sheridan;
Sister, Jewell Dean King and husband Herman of Sheridan;
Sister in law, Marilyn Lowery of Sheridan;
12 grandchildren; 24 great great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday, August 7, 2006 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Shawn Hill and Bro. Ron Ballard officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens cemetery. Visitation: Sunday 4-6 PM at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Brian Freeman, John A. Freeman, Marc Freeman, Chris Freeman, Shawn Freeman, David Mead, Allen Ellis, Jasper Ellis, Stephen Freeman, Scott Freeman and Glen McCool.
