Elsie Lee Moring Allen of Sheridan, Arkansas, was born April 21, 1921 at England, Arkansas, the daughter of the late William A. and Miley Nichols Moring. She was a retired beautician, and she enjoyed tending her flowers, and fishing with her late husband Boyce.

Mrs. Allen died Saturday, August 24, 2019, at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehabilitation at the age of 98. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Boyce Allen, who died December 1, 2008. They were married October 11, 1941.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Mary Allen of Sheridan; granddaughters, Gayla (Stan) Johnston of Redfield, Chris (Tom) Robinson of Redfield, Kerri (Michael) Weatherford of Sherwood, Joy (Tim) Dehart of Pine Bluff; 6 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan. Burial will be in Bethel (South) Cemetery in the Shiloh Community. Visitation is also Tuesday, 2:00-3:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Gene Moring, Glen Moring, Gaylon Moring, Danny Allen, Dennis Allen, and Tom Allen. Honorary pallbearers are Mark Allen, Deric Dehart, Marion Calvert, and Roy Wilson.
