Ester Wilkerson Hopf of Hensley, Arkansas was born December 22, 1920 at Hensley, the daughter of the late Thomas Henry and Elzie Elizabeth Tidwell Wilkerson. She was a homemaker and member of Marlow Missionary Baptist Church. She loved to read her Bible and also work crossword puzzles. Ms. Ester was a very special lady who leaves behind a rich legacy of Christian love.

Mrs. Hopf died Thursday, November 24, 2016 at Sheridan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 95. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Hopf; brothers, George Wilkerson, Riley Wilkerson, and Jess Wilkerson; sisters, Flora Locklin, Nelle Banks, and Eva Morehead.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Joe Riba of Hensley; granddaughter, Crystal Riba; great grandchildren, Valerie Ferry, Selena Ferry, and Elizabeth Riba. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, November 28, 2016 at Marlow Missionary Baptist Church at the Ico Community with Bro. Bob Oden and Bro. Robert Standley officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery in East End. Visitation is Sunday, 1:00-3:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
