Ethel Margie Ashton, born March 1, 1939, passed away peacefully on the night of October 14, 2012. She is preceded in death by her father, Henry Hughes, mother, Jewell Albright-Ruff; Sisters Pat Wright, Iona Kovar, and half sister Joyce Keller. She is also preceded by two half brothers, Dearl Jean Hughes and Dan Hughes as well as by her beloved husband Thomas Junior Ashton. She is survived by her children, James Ashton and wife Debbie and children Tracy, Rusty and Christopher; Eva Clelland and husband Charles and children Geanette and Jennifer; Patti French and husband Jerry and children Michelle, David and Robert; Jewell Ashton and children Jasmine and Mekah; Iona Dorsey and husband Bart and a sister Ruthie Graham. She also leaves behind thirteen great grandchildren as well as countless friends and extended family. Ethel Margie was a vibrant person who loved everyone; she will be greatly missed. The family would especially like to thank the staff at Southridge Village for taking such good care of her during her final years. Services will be held at Memorial Gardens on Saturday October 20th at 11:00 am in Sheridan with Bro. Carroll Sites officiating. A supplemental service at Southridge Village will be held on Thursday October 18th at 10 am for her friends there.
