Ethel Louise Lockhart Hale of Sheridan, Arkansas was born March 4, 1929 in the Cane Creek Community, (Grant County) the daughter of the late James Thomas and Ethel Wade Lockhart. In her earlier years, she enjoyed painting and arts and crafts.

Mrs. Hale died Sunday, August 7, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff at the age of 82.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Juanita Howard, J.L. Lockhart, Joy Farabough, Billy Joe Lockhart and Margie Howard.

Funeral services will 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Stephen Harrison and Bro. Kirk Hudspeth officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cane Creek Cemetery (Ico Community). Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. until service time.

Pallbearers are Bob Thorneberry, Roger Cotton, Perry McKinley, Ernie McKinley, Fadie Berry and Ray Berry.
