Etta Gail Jacobs Lawrence of Sheridan, Arkansas was born May 18, 1940 in Santa Monica, California, the daughter of Vim and Ardena Hammonds Green. She attended the Salvation Army Church in Pine Bluff and Forest Park Assembly of God also in Pine Bluff. She was a member of the Indian Pow Wow group and attended the festivals they did. She also enjoyed art work, drawing, shopping and was a volunteer for the Pine Bluff Police Department, JRMC, and Davis Life Care Nursing Home. She was also a pet lover, especially to her deceased dog, Cooper.
Ms. Etta died on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Baptist Health Medical in Little Rock at the age of 84.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Brandon Wayne Allen, grandmother, Callie Jacobs; granddaughter, Amanda Allen, and her husband, Rev. Gerald D. Lawrence.
Survivors: daughter Bernadette Allen (Bruce) of Redfield; grandchild, Amber Tenorio; 4 great grandchildren, Jonathan Allen, Christian Tenorio, Brayden Tenorio, and Austin Tenorio; close family friends she loved dearly, cousin Juerita
Horning, Howard and Fe Horning, Jr. and their kids, Howard and Marion all of California.
Graveside service will be Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 2:30 P.M. at Center Campground Cemetery with Bro. Jock Carter officiating. Visitation at the funeral home from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. also on Thursday.
