Obituary

Eulalia McNutt Harris of Sheridan, Arkansas was born February 2, 1921 at Pottsville, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Gladys McNutt Baker. She was a faithful and active member of First United Methodist Church in Sheridan, was a retired bookkeeper for Arkansas Oak Flooring in Pine Bluff, was secretary/treasurer of Mt. Zion Cemetery Association for many years and was a member of the Pine Bluff and Grant County Amateur Radio clubs.

Mrs. Harris died Thursday, May 8, 2008 at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock at the age of 87. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bland Harris in 1981.

Survivors include her cousin and caregiver, Sandi Wilkins and husband Troy of Maumelle;
Sandi's children and grandchildren, Kim and husband Dawayne Murdock of Ft. Smith and Amber and husband Jeff Haymes of Maumelle; and grandchildren, Joel and Micah Murdock and Stephanie Haymes; cousin, Linda Brown of Sherwood; her very good friend Wilton Davenport of Sheridan.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 12, 2008 at First United Methodist Church in Sheridan with Rev. Bruce Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Carthage. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00-5:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 357, Sheridan, Arkansas 72150.
Pallbearers are Dale Davenport, Phil Davenport, Dawayne Murdock, Jeff Haymes, Charles Creech, Dennis Holloway, John Bland and Tom Waller. Honorary pallbearer is Eddie McCoy.
