Eunice Lavone Ezell of Sheridan, was born May 24, 1929, in Star City, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Elsie and L.V. Chambliss Sr.

She retired from Illinois Tool Works and then pursued her passion for sewing. She was an excellent seamstress.

Eunice died Sunday April 21, 2019 at her home at the age of 89.

She was preceded in death by her son, Edward "Sonny" Ezell; two brothers, Lloyd Chambliss and Orval Chambliss; and two sisters, Dorothy Steed and Dean Simmons.

Survivors include her husband, Marvin Ezell; daughter, Letha (Lynn) Files; two grandchildren, Jennifer Files and Chris (Tanya) Files; four great grandchildren, Jon Michael Robertson, Ashlyn Files, Madison Files, and Lillian Files; two brothers, Brelin Chambliss and L.V. Chambliss Jr.; one sister, Catherine Atkinson and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be Tuesday April 23, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at New Owens Cemetery in Griffith Spring
