Obituary

Evelyn May Cage Binning of Searcy, Arkansas, was born August 17, 1949 at St. Ives, Cornwall, England, the daughter of the late Robert and Susan Mott Cage. She was a devout Christian, who shared her faith with everyone she met. She had worked as a caregiver, and enjoyed butterflies and gardening, especially her flowers. She was a published poet, who effortlessly wrote poems of comfort and encouragement, for her loved ones. She loved being "Nanaw" to her grandchildren, and spent every moment she could with them. Her favorite pastime was singing karaoke, especially Loretta Lynn songs, to anyone who would listen. Even if you didn't know you wanted to hear her sing, she knew you'd enjoy it, and that's all it took for her to start singing.

Mrs. Binning died Saturday, October 10, 2020, at Unity Health in Searcy, at the age of 71. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Cage.

Survivors include her daughters, Tracy Paxton of Prattsville, Tanyia Tarkington and husband Mike of Sheridan, Tina Ambrose and Lisa Jane Izatt, both of Peterborough, England; brothers, Tim Mott, Trevor Mott, Tony Mott, Raymond Mott, Bob Taylor all of St. Ives, Cornwall, England; grandchildren, William, Terry, Tim, Katie, Carl, Kyla; 13 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of other family members and friends.

Only a private family service will be held.

Evelyn had a passion for helping children, so memorials may be made to Haven, P.O. Box 11348, Conway, Arkansas 72034

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Staff of Integrity Resident Care in Searcy, especially Jennifer, who loved and spoiled Evelyn, and made her part of their family.
