Evelyn Donaldson McCool of Greers Ferry, Arkansas was born on September 2, 1945 and passed away on April 27, 2019. She was an incredibly kind, generous, and caring friend who made everyone feel welcome. She inspired everyone around her to be strong and independent but always kind and giving. She will be missed by her family and friends.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Alice Donaldson, and her sister, Jimmie Rae Hollis. She is survived by her husband, Arnold Small of Greers Ferry; her daughter, Gina McCool (Angel Herrera) and grandson, Connor of Austin, TX; her brothers, Mike Donaldson, Joe Donaldson and John Donaldson, all of Sheridan; her sister, Mary Sisson of Sheridan; her stepsons, Jeff Small (Melanie) of Maumelle and Rodney Small (Donna) of Conway; her grandchildren, Rhiannon, Carter, and Haley Small; her great-grandson, Dawson Coffman and host of friends.

Evelyn graduated from Sheridan High School in 1963. She worked as a computer specialist at the Pine Bluff Arsenal and retired in 2005.

She enjoyed traveling on the motorcycle and in the motorhome, spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandson and spending time with family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. Visitation will be at 1:00 until service time.
