Evelyn Currie Threlkeld of Sheridan, Arkansas was born July 31, 1937 in Nashville, the daughter of the late Bob and Virgie Violet Stuart Currie.

She attended Frist Baptist Church in Sheridan and enjoyed family get togethers, reading, playing cards, watching TV and playing bingo. She worked 26 years at AT&T (Lucent Technology) and 10 years at Timex before retiring.

Ms. Threlkeld died at Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Baptist Health North Little Rock at the age of 87.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Threlkeld; daughter, Patricia Bateman Vinyard, brother, Bill Currie and a sister, Bobbie Bullock.

Survivors; son, Mike Bateman, step children; Randy Threlkeld (Kimberly), Diane Threlkeld Rogers (David), Sidney Homsher, and Betsy Bracas; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild as well as many friends including her special friend Nancy Dubois.

Funeral service will be 12:00 P.M. on June 10, 2025 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan with Bro. George Yarberry officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel North Cemetery in the Ico Community. Visitation will be prior to the service from11:00 AM until service time.
