James Everett Miller of Sheridan, Arkansas was born October 6, 1934 at Sheridan, the son of the late James E. Miller, Sr. and Ora B. Miller. He was a United States Air Force Veteran, was previous owner of Sheridan Ready Mix and later Everett Miller Trucking. He was a 32 degree Mason (Shriner) and member of Sheridan Masonic Lodge.

Mr. Miller died Saturday, May 7, 2011, at his home in Sheridan, at the age of 76. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Armstrong and Maggie Carr.

Survivors include his wife, Maxine Hawkins Miller; daughter, Liz and husband David Semelka; grandchildren, Magan and Brandon Semelka; all of Sheridan.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan with Bro. Steve Cypert officiating. Visitation will be Monday, 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
