Fannie Myrtle Carson Crutchfield of Sheridan, Arkansas was born February 23, 1922 in Sheridan, the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Ward Carson. She was a member of Forest Tower Baptist Church and for many years she was a nurses aid. She cherished her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Mrs. Crutchfield died Monday, December 23, 2013 at her home at the age of 91.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Crutchfield, a son, Curtis Crutchfield, daughter, Ima Gean Hill, sisters, Ethel Masters and Jamie Durham, and a grandson Casey Crutchfield.

Survivors: sons, Calvin Crutchfield and wife Donna of Little Rock; Donald Crutchfield and wife Tonya; Charles Crutchfield and wife Tammy all of Sheridan; David Crutchfield and wife Jamie of Picayune, MS; daughters, Joyce McCumpsey and husband Jerrell of Little Rock; Marie Fite and husband Ronnie of Prattsville; Rita McMichael of Little Rock, Sister, Elsie Hawkins of Sheridan; 23 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 Friday, December 27, 2013 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Goodman and Bro. Michael Walton officiating. Burial will follow at Old Marlow Cemetery near Sheridan. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Sonny McCumpsey, Dylan Crutchfield, Clayton Crutchfield, Will Crutchfield, Kenny Langley and Clay Crutchfield.
