Faye Johnson Brewer of Sheridan, Arkansas was born on March 19, 1915 at Sheridan, the daughter of the late John M. And Henrietta Atchley Johnson. She died at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock on Friday, July 23, 2004 at the age of 89 years.

She was of the Baptist faith; a retired factory worker for the Bemis Bag Company, St. Louis, Missouri; and was the widow of Thurman Brewer whom she married on August 19,1933, and who preceded her in death in September, 1970. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Fred and Idus Johnson, and 4 sisters, Lottie, Myrtis, Willis, and a baby girl who died at birth.

Survivors are three sons, Bob Brewer of Troy, Missouri; Marion (Mac) Brewer of Sheridan; and Thomas Brewer of El Paso, Texas; and two daughters, Etta Laster and Margie Paulk, both of Sheridan. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren; 18 great-grandchldren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at 10:00 AM at the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan, with Bro. Howard Loetscher officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery near Sheridan by Memorial Gardens Funeral Home-Sheridan. Visistion will be Monday evening from 6 - 8 PM at the funeral home.
