Obituary

Lillian Faye Easter was born on December 22, 1937 in Cash, Arkansas to the late Thomas E. "Bud" Walker and Johnnie Claudine Walker. She was one of 5 children and the eldest daughter. Growing up she was an avid reader and worked as a carhop as a teenager. Lillian, known to her friends and family as Faye, married (late) Albert Easter Jr with whom she celebrated 66 years together. The couple settled in Forrest City where they established Easter's Upholstery and raised their young family. In 1971 the family relocated to Sheridan where Faye joined the Grant County EH Club and assisted Albert in the daily running of their business. Faye was a talented seamstress, sewing most of her children's clothes including wedding dresses and formal suits. She loved dolls and enjoyed the hobby of doll making and was known to occupy herself with creative ceramic and glazing projects throughout her adult life. Faye was passionate about beautiful flowers and enjoyed working as a florist.

Her happiest moments were when she was holding a baby in her arms. She showered them with unconditional love and care as she did her entire family. She was always ready and willing to babysit or to play chauffeur for all of her grandchildren & great-grands. Faye possessed a servant's heart and had a willingness to help whomever & wherever she could. She was a girl scout troop leader, boy scout den mother, Sunday School teacher and caregiver to many of her family members. She was a devoted member of Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan.

Faye is preceded in death by her parents, husband Albert, daughter Belinda Gay Morrison, grandson Benjamin Scott Crutchfield, daughter-in-law Debbie Easter, son-in-law Tracy Croft and sister Irma Harris. She is survived by her sister Juanita Hogan (Walt), brothers Leon Walker (Linda) and Kelly Walker (Marcella), four children, Felecia Walls Pleis (Ron) of Maumelle, Thomas Albert Easter (late Debbie) of Sheridan, Valerie Jo Crutchfield Darguzas (Alex) of Prattsville, and Laura Croft (late Tracy) of Sheridan.
