Denver Faye Koon Williams of Sheridan, Arkansas was born October 17, 1920 at Sheridan, the daughter of the late Henry and Sophronia Puckett Koon. She was a member of Hope Pentecostal Church, was a retired secretary for the Arkansas Forestry Commission and was a member of the Arkansas State Employee Association.

Mrs. Williams died Friday, April 3, 2009 at Sheridan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 88. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Newton Williams; Son, Ralph Williams; Brother, Royce Koon; Sisters, Alice Donaldson, Inez Harrington, Joelma Swindal, Eula Ross, Edna Crutchfield, and Jewell Koon.

Survivors include her son, Kenneth and wife Vicki Williams of Sheridan; Brother, Raymond and wife Margaret Koon of Sheridan; Sister, Ruth Stubbs of Sheridan; Grandchildren, Everette Williams, LeAnn Wolf and Dustin Williams; Great grandchild, Cruz Wolf.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 5, 2009 at the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Walt Hollis and Bro. Keith Pennington officiating. Burial will follow in Lost Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 5:00-7:00 P.M. Saturday.
